New York, NY - February 22, 2012 – NTT DATA Americas, a leading IT professional services provider and a regional operating unit of the Japan-based NTT DATA Corporation, today announced it has been named a “Leader” and a “Major Player” by IDC Health Insights in two separate reports analyzing IT Services providers.  In the research firm’s comprehensive report, IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Life Science Manufacturing and Supply Chain IT Outsourcing 2011 Vendor Assessment (Document # HI231819, December 2011), NTT DATA Americas was described as a Leader and was also positioned by IDC as a Major Player in a separate report on life sciences sales and marketing called IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Life Science Sales and Marketing IT Outsourcing 2011Vendor Assessment (Document #HI231228, November 2011). Both documents were authored by IDC Health Insights program director Eric Newmark.
